Logging Services Engineer (Level III)

About the role

The Logging Services Engineer (III) at ADNOC Drilling delivers high‑quality wireline operations on onshore and offshore rigs across the UAE. The role combines technical execution, client advisory, and mentorship of junior staff while ensuring safety and compliance with ADNOC standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute open‑hole and cased‑hole wireline services for assigned rigs and fields.
• Lead wellsite operations as crew lead engineer, coordinating with rig crews and customer representatives.
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers and operators in tool deployment and service delivery.
• Plan, prepare, and troubleshoot jobs, including pre‑ and post‑job reporting.
• Manage radioactive sources and explosives in line with HSE and regulatory protocols.
• Maintain accurate job records and communicate updates to the service delivery coordinator.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of oilfield wireline experience, including open‑hole and cased‑hole operations.
• Proven experience with Baker Hughes wireline equipment and tools.
• Strong understanding of HS&E requirements, risk assessment, PTW, SIMOPS, and pressure control.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
