Logistic Operative (Emirati Talent)

About the role

Seddiqi Holding, a family-owned and managed company with a diversified portfolio of businesses and brands, is looking for a Logistic Operative to join its Logistics and Warehousing team. The role provides accurate and prompt receipt, storage, picking, packing and dispatching of goods.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and check incoming stock according to Standard Operating Procedures, ensuring goods are correctly labelled, bar-coded and located in the warehouse.
• Enter inbound and outbound delivery information accurately into the company systems.
• Complete documentation on receipt or delivery of goods promptly and update the system accordingly.
• Inspect goods for quantity, reference and quality, and report damages, discrepancies or unresolved issues to the Line Manager.
• Ensure safe and efficient handling, loading, delivery and collection of goods.
• Carry out stock and inventory control and maintain records of deliveries, collections and transfers.
• Maintain a clean and tidy workplace following company standards.

Required profile

• High school education or equivalent.
• Good verbal and written communication in English.
