Logistics Coordinator

About the role

The Logistics Coordinator will manage the end‑to‑end flow of materials and parts, ensuring timely delivery to customers and subcontractors while maintaining strict quality and safety standards. This role supports the logistics team by handling documentation, troubleshooting shipping issues, and coordinating movements on the shop floor.

Key responsibilities

• Allocate delivery schedules at least two weeks in advance.
• Organise and track shipments directly to customers and subcontractors.
• Load and unload trucks with materials and parts.
• Pack all materials and parts in compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Control and retain all shipping documentation through a document‑control process.
• Support the logistics team with documentation requirements.
• Move parts around the shop floor safely and efficiently.
• Create and maintain copies of EPI invoices according to document‑control requirements.
• Troubleshoot shipping issues and resolve customer complaints.

Required profile

• Diploma or relevant experience in a logistics role.
• Minimum of 5‑10 years of logistics experience.
• Experience in aerospace, defence or oil & gas sectors is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of local and international shipping regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and work under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with SAP systems.
