Logistics Coordinator – Steel Industry

About the role

The client, a leading steel manufacturer, is looking for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to manage the movement of incoming and outgoing steel products in Sharjah.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and prepare documentation to expedite deliveries from stock to customers.
• Serve as point of contact for emergency shipping and receiving, including after‑hours and weekend on‑call assignments.
• Process inventory data updates, conduct cycle counts and resolve inventory‑related issues.
• Generate delivery notes, shipping documents and ensure timely order processing and route planning.
• Communicate order fulfilment status and resolve issues with stakeholders while complying with health and safety standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (diploma in Supply Chain Management is a plus).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in material handling or logistics operations.
• Hands‑on experience with Hamriyah Customs; knowledge of Dubai Customs and E‑Mirsal.
• Strong organisational, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
