Logistics Executive – Operations

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Logistics Executive – Operations to oversee daily logistics activities, coordinate international shipments and ensure seamless import‑export operations. The role requires strong knowledge of freight forwarding, shipping documentation and close collaboration with shipping lines, transporters and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate export and import shipments (FCL, LCL, air and road freight).
• Handle bookings with shipping lines, freight forwarders and transport companies.
• Prepare and verify shipping documents such as Bill of Lading, commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and delivery orders.
• Monitor shipment status from booking to final delivery and follow up on ETD, ETA, vessel schedules.
• Manage detention, demurrage and free‑time monitoring.
• Resolve shipment delays and operational issues promptly.
• Maintain shipment records and prepare operational reports.
• Ensure compliance with UAE customs and international shipping regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding or shipping operations in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of sea freight, air freight and customs documentation.
• Experience working with major shipping lines and freight forwarders.
• Excellent communication, coordination, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
