Logistics Officer

About the role

REDA Chemicals is looking for a motivated Logistics Officer to manage export, import and cross‑trade shipments from origin to final destination. The role involves close coordination with suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and compliance with trade regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate export, import and cross‑trade shipments, monitoring status and providing updates to stakeholders.
• Prepare, review and verify all shipping and export documentation, ensuring compliance with international trade and customs requirements.
• Book shipments with freight forwarders and carriers, and maintain accurate records in the ERP system.
• Resolve documentation, shipping‑delay and customs‑clearance issues, supporting sales and business teams.
• Generate periodic logistics reports for management review.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in export, import and cross‑trade operations, preferably within the Middle East and Africa.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems for shipment tracking and record‑keeping.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
