Logistics Specialist – Ajman, UAE

About the role

We are seeking a Logistics Specialist to manage and optimise the flow of goods for a leading luxury fragrance brand in Ajman, UAE. The role involves coordinating domestic and international shipments, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, and supporting the supply chain to maintain uninterrupted product availability.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage domestic and international shipments, ensuring timely and cost‑effective delivery.
• Handle import and export operations, including customs clearance, shipping documentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor inventory movements and maintain accurate stock records across warehouses.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Production, Sales, and Warehouse teams to guarantee product availability.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping companies, customs brokers, and government authorities.
• Track shipments and resolve logistics‑related issues promptly to minimise disruptions.
• Analyse logistics performance, prepare reports and monitor KPIs.
• Identify opportunities to optimise transportation, warehousing and distribution costs while maintaining service quality.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and UAE/GCC logistics and trade regulations.
• Utilise ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to maintain accurate operational data and streamline processes.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply‑chain efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in perfume, cosmetics, manufacturing or FMCG.
• Strong understanding of import/export procedures, customs regulations and international shipping within the UAE and GCC.
• Experience in inventory control, warehouse operations and supply‑chain coordination.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with suppliers and logistics partners.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
