About the role

We are seeking a Low Latency C++ Engineer to join a leading quantitative trading firm’s engineering team in Abu Dhabi. The role involves building ultra‑low latency, high‑throughput trading systems that operate at the forefront of financial technology.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimise ultra‑low latency C++ applications on Linux.
• Build scalable, high‑performance trading infrastructure from concept to production.
• Collaborate with traders, researchers, and engineers to deliver mission‑critical systems.
• Benchmark, profile, and optimise software to achieve exceptional performance.
• Drive innovation across core frameworks and low‑level infrastructure.

Required profile

• Expert‑level experience in C/C++ development within Linux environments.
• Proven track record building and optimising low‑latency, high‑performance systems.
• Strong understanding of operating system internals, the Linux kernel, and networking protocols.
• Deep knowledge of low‑level systems programming and hardware architecture.
• Passion for solving complex performance and systems challenges.
