Luxury Butler – Ras Al‑Khaimah

About the role

We are looking for an exceptional Butler to join our luxury hospitality team at Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort in Ras Al‑Khaimah. The Butler will act as a personal ambassador for guests, delivering tailored, high‑end service that anticipates needs and enhances the overall stay.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a hotel ambassador, providing personalized service while adhering to hotel procedures and local regulations.
• Greet and welcome guests, offer refreshments, and assist with luggage, unpacking and room orientation.
• Manage guest requests efficiently, including laundry, housekeeping coordination, room maintenance, and concierge services such as restaurant reservations and travel arrangements.
• Maintain impeccable room standards through daily inspections and personalized upkeep.
• Anticipate guest preferences by maintaining detailed profiles, recognizing VIPs and offering services proactively.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, food & beverage, front office and guest services to ensure seamless operations.
• Handle guest complaints with professionalism, empathy and decisive resolution, keeping detailed records.
• Perform food and beverage service duties, including meal preparation, room service delivery and beverage service.
• Provide concierge assistance for internet connectivity, technical support and information on hotel facilities and local attractions.
• Uphold strict confidentiality of guest information and comply with health, safety, fire and security procedures.
• Attend daily briefings, maintain logbooks and communicate guest feedback to supervisors.
• Represent the hotel with impeccable personal appearance and adhere to uniform standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments, fostering an inclusive work environment.
• Remain flexible to changing guest needs and business demands, extending duties as required.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English.
• Proven experience in luxury guest service and hospitality.
• Strong attention to detail, warmth and professionalism.
• Ability to anticipate needs and act proactively.
• High level of discretion and confidentiality.
• Team‑player attitude with ability to collaborate across departments.
• Flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities and guest requirements.
