Machinist Fabricator Master – Logistics Centre

About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking an experienced Machinist Fabricator Master to join its Logistics Centre. The role involves operating a range of workshop equipment to produce precision metal parts for the resort’s facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate lathes, milling machines, shears, press brakes, band saws, grinders and other equipment to fabricate parts to specification.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD prints and CAFM work orders, perform tooling setup and precision inspection.
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning and basic troubleshooting on machines, coordinating repairs with maintenance staff.
• Weld various metals using TIG, MIG and SMAW techniques, maintaining accurate production records.
• Collaborate with welders and facilities teams to meet timelines, ensure quality standards and support junior staff.
• Adhere to safety procedures, PPE usage and regulatory compliance, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• High School diploma or equivalent; apprenticeship certificate in metal workshop.
• Welding certificate meeting ISO9606-1 or EN1090 standards.
• Minimum 10 years hands‑on experience in metal fabrication, machining or related trade.
• Proven proficiency with lathes, milling machines, shears, press brakes and welding equipment.
• Strong blueprint reading skills and experience with precision measuring tools.
• Fair spoken and written English; additional languages a plus.
