Maintenance Assistant Manager (Hospitality)

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Assistant Manager to support the smooth operation of multiple hospitality and F&B venues in Dubai. The role combines hands‑on technical work with coordination of technicians and contractors to ensure all building systems run efficiently and safely.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing day‑to‑day maintenance activities across a portfolio of F&B venues.
• Support supervision and coordination of maintenance technicians and external contractors.
• Help implement and monitor preventive and reactive maintenance schedules for HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Conduct routine site inspections, report issues and ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with internal departments and service providers to deliver timely, cost‑effective maintenance solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of work orders, repairs, inventory and maintenance schedules.
• Assist with budget tracking and cost control for maintenance‑related expenses.
• Provide emergency maintenance support to minimise operational disruptions and act as point of contact in the absence of the Maintenance Manager.

Required profile

• Proven experience in an assistant maintenance management or similar role, preferably within hospitality or F&B.
• Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Facilities Management or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in facilities, electrical or mechanical systems; fire safety and health & safety certifications are a plus.
• Strong communication and coordination skills, fluent in English.
