Maintenance Coordinator – Heavy Equipment & Yard

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Coordinator to manage preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance for heavy equipment, vehicles, lifting gear and yard assets that support our logistics and operational activities in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily maintenance activities and workshop operations, ensuring timely execution of work orders.
• Plan and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to minimise equipment downtime.
• Track equipment availability, manage spare‑parts inventory and coordinate procurement requirements.
• Arrange inspections, certifications and testing of lifting equipment and ensure compliance with HSE, PTW and LOTO procedures.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, service reports and equipment history.
• Prepare maintenance reports and KPI updates, supporting fleet and heavy‑equipment operations.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy‑equipment maintenance coordination, including fleet and yard operations.
• Strong knowledge of preventive, breakdown and corrective maintenance processes and OEM procedures.
• Experience with spare‑parts planning, inventory control and maintenance management systems (ERP, SAP, CMMS).
• Previous work in Oil & Gas, Construction, Marine, Offshore, Mining or Heavy‑Equipment industries, preferably in the UAE.
