Maintenance Specialist - Wireline Tools

About the role

Baker Hughes is looking for an experienced Maintenance Specialist to join its Maintenance & Workshop Team. The team supports service delivery by keeping wireline tools and equipment maintained to the highest standards through preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting and asset readiness. The internal title for this role is Manufacturing Professional - Equipment Maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, test, clean and repair wireline tools and equipment
• Assemble and disassemble equipment and validate downhole and surface systems
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance, fault finding and functional testing
• Manage incoming inspection and post-job evaluation of equipment
• Ensure equipment preservation, storage readiness and accurate maintenance records
• Support work preparation, including spare parts planning and repair scope definition
• Take part in root cause analysis and failure investigations
• Keep the workshop clean, safe and organised, and follow HSE policies, maintenance procedures and quality standards

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering
• Experience in maintenance, repair and testing of wireline tools and equipment
• Strong expertise in electro-mechanical and electronic systems; experience with Sondex tools or similar wireline products highly preferred
• Ability to troubleshoot circuits, sensors, telemetry, mechanical and hydraulic systems
• Experience with SAP or similar maintenance management systems
• Willingness to travel internationally
