Maintenance Supervisor – Abu Dhabi

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the day‑to‑day maintenance activities of the organization. This role ensures that facilities, equipment, and systems are well‑maintained, safe, and fully operational.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, plan, and coordinate daily maintenance operations across facilities and equipment.
• Assign tasks, monitor performance of maintenance staff, and provide guidance and training.
• Inspect buildings, systems, and equipment to identify issues and schedule timely repairs.
• Develop and oversee preventive maintenance schedules to minimise downtime.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inventory, and repair histories.
• Liaise with contractors, vendors, and external service providers for specialised repairs.
• Monitor and control maintenance budgets, tools, and spare‑parts inventory.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimise operational disruptions.
• Prepare reports on maintenance performance, completed work, and improvement recommendations.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor, Team Leader, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of building systems such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical.
• Excellent leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Ability to prioritise and multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Minimum of 4–6 years of maintenance experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
