Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of our repair shop, lead a team of technicians, and ensure the safety, reliability, and optimal performance of our vehicle fleet and machinery. This role combines hands‑on technical expertise with strong leadership to minimise equipment downtime and control maintenance costs.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise workshop activities by scheduling, assigning, and prioritising daily repair tasks for mechanics and technicians.
• Design, implement, and track preventive maintenance programmes to avoid equipment failures across all sites.
• Perform advanced diagnostics on complex mechanical or electrical issues and inspect completed work for quality.
• Monitor spare‑parts inventory, place orders for tools and supplies, and manage vendor relationships.
• Enforce workshop safety protocols in line with OSHA and local regulations and ensure compliance with transport safety standards.
• Manage work orders, track maintenance costs, and update digital fleet‑management software logs.

Required profile

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a lead mechanic or workshop supervisor.
• Deep knowledge of diesel and gasoline engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and diagnostic software.
• Proven ability to manage, train, and motivate a team of technicians.
• Familiarity with Odoo and basic MS Office applications (Excel, Word).
