Maintenance Technician – Elevators & Escalators

About the role

KONE is looking for experienced Maintenance Technicians to join its Middle East, Turkey & Africa division. You will be the frontline hero ensuring elevators and escalators operate safely and efficiently for our customers across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Manage customer relationships by providing accurate on‑site communication (ETA, job details, etc.).
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot faults, and execute call‑outs and service repairs.
• Ensure equipment safety, identify site risks, and follow escalation procedures for high‑risk situations.
• Maintain accurate real‑time reporting of work performed at the equipment level.
• Keep service tools, van, and instruments in good condition and submit timesheets promptly.
• Support sales initiatives by raising opportunities to the supervisor.

Required profile

• ITI/Vocational Certificate or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Automation or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of preventive maintenance and troubleshooting experience with a reputable elevator company.
• Good verbal and written English communication skills.
• Basic IT and digital foundation skills.
• Valid GCC work permit.
