Maintenance Technician

About the role

Emirates Engineering, a GCAA‑CAR V approved aircraft maintenance facility in Dubai, is looking for a Maintenance Technician to support scheduled and non‑scheduled maintenance of equipment, vehicles and ground support plant across its workshops.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily maintenance tasks, ensuring proper housekeeping and tool care.
• Diagnose, fault‑find and repair equipment, vehicles, Ground Power Units (GPU) and Pre‑conditioned Air (PCA) units to minimise downtime.
• Record all work in the log book and Maintenance Management System for planning and compliance.
• Follow safety procedures and report any required spare parts or tools to senior technicians.
• Assist with scheduled maintenance in line with manufacturer recommendations, ISO standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct daily inspections of equipment and operate access equipment, forklifts and neutralisation plant as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of schooling or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in maintenance (facilities, automotive or electrical) within a large organisation, preferably aviation ground support.

Required skills

• Mechanical troubleshooting and repair of aircraft ground support equipment.
• Operation of forklifts and access equipment.
• Basic knowledge of GPU and PCA systems.
• Use of maintenance management software for logging work.
