Maintenance Technician

About the role

A permanent Maintenance Technician is sought for a facilities team in Dubai. The role covers routine and corrective maintenance of building systems, responding to service requests and keeping residential and commercial properties running safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC and mechanical systems
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair faults in equipment and building infrastructure
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and update clients by email
• Keep accurate logs of maintenance activities, parts used and work orders
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations and company policies
• Work with external vendors and colleagues to coordinate specialised repairs

Required profile

• 1-3 years of hands-on experience as a maintenance technician, home technician or similar
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Flexible hours, including on-call rotations (preferred)

Required skills

• Preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and mechanical systems
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for residential and commercial equipment
• Use of email to share technical reports and work order updates
• Basic familiarity with computerised maintenance management systems; preferred: SAP PM or Maximo
