About the role

The Making Links Asia University Programme is a paid work‑experience initiative designed for first‑year law students from under‑represented backgrounds. Based in Abu Dhabi, the programme combines professional training with a placement in Linklaters’ local office.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in a series of interactive webinars and online learning sessions (January‑June).
• Engage in one‑on‑one coaching sessions to develop commercial fluency.
• Complete a paid work‑experience placement in the nearest Linklaters office.
• Receive a two‑week salary sponsorship paid at the start of the placement.
• Develop commercial fluency and a global outlook through programme activities.

Required profile

• Native Arabic‑speaking first‑year law student.
• From an under‑represented background.
• Committed to a career in commercial law.
• Consistently strong academic performance.
