Management Accountant / Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking a highly organised and commercially‑aware Management Accountant / Financial Controller to join the finance leadership team of Syncoms Group in Dubai. Reporting directly to the Group CEO and working closely with the London head office, you will ensure accurate financial reporting, robust accounting controls and effective operational finance support across multiple companies.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, profit & loss statements, balance‑sheet schedules and cash‑flow reports for the Group and head office.
• Conduct variance analysis and produce financial performance summaries for senior management.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning processes.
• Perform bank, general‑ledger, supplier, customer, inter‑company and balance‑sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate accounts payable and receivable records, including vendor invoices, supplier payments, customer receipts, payroll transactions and petty‑cash handling.
• Monitor debtor and creditor ageing, support credit control and ensure timely payments.
• Keep accounting records audit‑ready and provide operational finance insights to the CEO and business units.

Required profile

• Relevant finance or accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CMA) preferred.
