Manager, Business Finance - WBG (Emiratized)

About the role

This role supports the cost management of enablement functions and business units, provides monthly financial reports to Support Divisions with detailed variance analysis and focuses on cost analysis. It owns the end-to-end Cost Allocation process for the Group, including managing the month-end cost allocation process for the FAB UAE enablement functions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide guidance and on-the-job training to junior colleagues and share knowledge to help the team achieve its objectives.
• Monitor cost allocation financial performance against budget, report variances to management and advise on risks and opportunities.
• Implement policies, systems and procedures for the assigned team and take part in continuous improvement of processes and practices.
• Prepare sectional statements and reports on time and accurately.
• Manage the month-end cost allocation process for the enablement functions, prepare monthly management information reports and analyse actuals.
• Analyse cost allocation charges, make adjustments where needed and implement stakeholder requests for reports.
• Assist in the budget process for enablement functions cost allocations and set up budget templates.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree; professional qualified accountant (CA, ACCA etc.) or a master's level qualification.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in the banking sector, in progressively more senior finance roles.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team of finance professionals and to work with senior management stakeholders daily.
• Detail-oriented, able to multi-task under pressure and deliver high-quality results.
