About the role
The Manager will lead complex consulting projects for political leaders and governments across the Middle East, translating bold ideas into actionable strategies. Based in Dubai, the role combines project delivery, team development, and business expansion within the Institute’s regional hub.
Key responsibilities
- Lead delivery of complex consulting projects and workstreams, setting priorities, managing timelines and resources.
- Structure complex problems and guide teams from analysis to actionable recommendations.
- Build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders, challenging constructively and supporting decision‑making.
- Lead and develop high‑performing project teams, providing coaching, feedback and maintaining quality standards.
- Shape clear client communications, ensuring written outputs and presentations are audience‑focused.
- Scope new opportunities, support TBI expansion into new geographies and develop presentations for senior officials.
- Contribute to business development by identifying emerging client needs and shaping proposals.
Required profile
- 5–7 years of experience in strategy consulting or advisory organisations with exposure to strategy development and implementation.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills, able to structure complex questions and translate evidence into practical recommendations.
- Proven track record delivering complex projects, managing multiple workstreams while maintaining high quality.
- Excellent client and stakeholder management skills, confident engaging senior counterparts.
- Proactive, hands‑on approach with ability to work in ambiguous environments and move between strategic thinking and practical execution.
- Collegiate, low‑ego attitude, valuing diverse perspectives and contributing to a supportive team culture.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication, capable of synthesising complexity into compelling narratives.
- Experience leading and developing others, providing direction, feedback and fostering collaboration.
- Deep expertise or distinctive knowledge in areas such as geopolitics, economics, AI, technology, defence, security, or public sector reform.
