Manager – Correspondent Banking

About the role

Emirates Islamic Bank is seeking a seasoned Manager to lead its Correspondent Banking activities within the Transaction Banking Services unit. The role focuses on expanding global clearing corridors, driving wallet growth and ensuring regulatory compliance across cross‑border payment solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and expand correspondent banking relationships and global clearing corridors.
• Own end‑to‑end Vostro/Nostro onboarding, wallet growth, and CASA balance optimization.
• Structure pricing, rebates, and commercial models for FI and NBFI clients.
• Lead digital payment, API integration, and corridor‑based growth initiatives.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and governance across correspondent banking operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Transaction Banking, Correspondent Banking or FIG with hands‑on Vostro/Nostro exposure.
• Strong knowledge of SWIFT, cross‑border payments, AML/KYC, sanctions and regulatory frameworks.
• Proven experience in pricing models, wallet sizing, corridor economics and performance analytics.
• Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation and international banking relationship skills.
