Manager Financial Inventory Control & Accounting

About the role

The Manager Financial Inventory Control & Accounting will oversee financial control, valuation, and reporting of inventory across the Group. The role is responsible for accurate inventory records, effective reconciliation and reporting, strong internal controls, and protection of inventory balance integrity. The position works closely with Finance and operational teams to identify variances and improve inventory accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee inventory recording, classification, valuation, financial control and reconciliation in the accounting system.
• Manage reconciliations between physical counts, inventory records and the general ledger, investigating variances.
• Ensure provisions, write‑offs and adjustments comply with accounting standards and Group policies.
• Lead inventory audits and physical verification together with Finance, auditors and business teams.
• Prepare reports on inventory balances, variances, ageing, provisions and financial exposure.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, CMA) preferred.
• 8–10 years of experience in inventory accounting, financial control and reconciliation, with prior managerial responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of inventory valuation, provisions, write‑offs and internal financial controls.
• Extensive ERP experience, preferably with SAP, Oracle or Dynamics 365.
