Manager, Global Compliance & Reporting (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

EY is seeking a Manager to join its Global Compliance & Reporting (GCR) team in Abu Dhabi. The role leads complex tax engagements and drives the growth of the GCR practice.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team in delivering tax compliance and reporting services to clients.
• Manage day‑to‑day client engagements, monitor progress, and ensure high‑quality deliverables.
• Establish and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
• Identify risks, implement standardized processes, and drive performance‑improvement solutions.
• Supervise high‑performing teams, fostering a positive learning culture and coaching junior members.
• Ensure adherence to EY’s Tax Quality guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, taxation or a related field.
• Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s) or professional qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, CTA, ADIT) preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in domestic and international tax rules and regulations, preferably within a large professional services firm.
• Strong background in tax accounting and tax auditing.
• Proven managerial, organizational and project‑management experience.
• Experience working with multinational clients in a multicultural environment.
• In‑depth commercial, legislative and industry knowledge.
