Manager, Innovation & Partnerships

About the role

The Manager, Innovation & Partnerships will lead the identification, evaluation and delivery of innovative initiatives and strategic partnerships that enhance retail fuel, convenience and mobility experiences. This role bridges business, technology and external partners to accelerate adoption of digital, AI and technology‑enabled solutions while ensuring scalability, governance and ROI.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an innovation roadmap aligned with customer experience, retail growth and digital transformation priorities.
• Identify, assess and prioritize emerging technologies such as AI, automation, robotics and digital platforms relevant to retail and mobility.
• Translate innovation opportunities into structured initiatives with clear objectives, milestones and success measures.
• Lead pilot programs and proofs of concept, ensuring timely execution and evidence‑based evaluation.
• Scale successful innovations into operationally viable and commercially sustainable solutions.
• Drive deployment of AI‑enabled use cases to enhance customer engagement, personalization and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT and data teams to ensure AI solutions are secure, compliant and aligned with enterprise architecture.
• Establish AI governance frameworks covering prioritization, risk, ethics and performance tracking.
• Identify, evaluate and onboard strategic technology and innovation partners, managing the full partnership lifecycle.
• Act as primary business interface with partners, vendors and innovation ecosystems, ensuring alignment with internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven ability to identify, evaluate and deliver innovative initiatives that create measurable customer and commercial impact.
• Experience managing AI‑enabled projects and establishing AI governance frameworks.
• Track record of building and managing strategic technology partnerships.
