Manager - Lending and Financing Corporate Banking

About the role

The position is responsible for managing renewal credit applications and renewals with enhancements for corporate, wealth and investment banking clients. The manager ensures credit risk assessments are accurate, monitors portfolio quality and supports business development while aligning with the group’s financial objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee completion and update of renewal credit proposals (RWOE CA) and renewals with enhancements, ensuring limits stay within approved percentages.
• Monitor allocated portfolios, conduct annual reviews and analyse market trends to maintain portfolio quality.
• Assess financial statements, perform ratio and trend analysis, and report findings to senior decision‑makers.
• Identify and mitigate business, financial and structural risks by creating actionable plans.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to meet turnaround times, support business development and ensure compliance with service level agreements.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of banking experience, including at least 3 years in a credit‑risk role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance.
• Strong analytical abilities and proficiency in financial statement analysis.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with report‑writing experience.
• People‑management skills to lead and develop a team.
