Manager, Marine Operations

About the role

ADNOC is seeking a seasoned Manager to lead safe, reliable and cost‑effective marine operations across its Petroleum Ports network. The role is responsible for fleet readiness, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement, aligning daily activities with ADNOC L&S strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily marine operations and 24/7 fleet activities, ensuring safe and compliant service delivery.
• Monitor fleet availability, utilization and operational readiness, taking corrective actions to resolve bottlenecks.
• Coordinate with Marine Superintendents, vessel teams, stations and support departments to improve reliability, safety and customer service.
• Conduct vessel, station and site visits as directed by senior leadership and follow up on improvement actions.
• Implement and monitor HSE, compliance and risk‑management controls in line with company policies, government regulations, port rules and international standards.
• Drive digital transformation initiatives and operational efficiency programmes across Marine Services.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in marine or port operations within the energy sector.
• Strong knowledge of fleet management, operational readiness and service continuity.
• Demonstrated ability to work with cross‑functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Experience ensuring compliance with local and international maritime regulations.
• Commitment to safety, sustainability and continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the ISM Code and related maritime safety standards.
• Familiarity with ISO management system requirements.
• Understanding of Integrated Management Systems for maritime operations.
