Manager, Markets Sales

About the role

Coinbase is looking for a Manager, Markets Sales to lead the growth of its advanced derivatives offering across the UAE, MENA and Europe. This remote‑first position will be based in the UAE and will involve building relationships with professional traders and representing Coinbase at industry events.

Key responsibilities

• Own and expand a network of professional traders across the UAE, MENA and Europe, driving revenue through high‑touch acquisition and ongoing account management.
• Execute the regional sales strategy, meeting targets for market penetration, trading volume growth and client expansion.
• Partner with Product, Risk and Compliance teams to localise perpetual futures, futures and options products for regional regulatory requirements.
• Represent Coinbase at client meetings, industry events and conferences, deepening relationships and sourcing new high‑value opportunities.
• Build and optimise sales processes, CRM workflows and pipeline tracking to improve origination efficiency and reporting accuracy.

Required profile

• 8+ years in derivatives sales, trading or structuring (crypto or FX/rates/equities) with direct P&L responsibility and a proven track record of closing high‑value clients.
• Deep knowledge of the UAE, MENA and European crypto regulatory and market environment, with experience executing regional growth strategies.
• Expertise in perpetual futures, futures and options, and existing relationships with prosumer and advanced retail clients.
• Experience working with active and prosumer traders on derivatives platforms, consistently meeting or exceeding revenue or volume targets.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the UAE, MENA and Europe for client meetings, events and conferences.
• Responsible use of generative AI, maintaining human oversight to improve workflow efficiency, cost and quality.
