Manager, Project Cost Optimization Studies

About the role

The Manager, Project Cost Optimization Studies is responsible for leading cost optimisation reviews and studies across group companies, delivering efficient projects with maximised value. The role involves close interaction with senior management and various engineering disciplines to ensure recommendations are well communicated and implemented.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate engineering options and ensure latest technologies and best solutions are applied.
• Coordinate annual cost optimisation study plans with group companies and ADNOC HQ.
• Review engineering and cost documents, prepare clarification lists, and conduct optimisation sessions.
• Prepare and present cost optimisation review reports, memos and presentations to top management.
• Continuously improve optimisation processes, incorporating AI, new technologies and sustainability levers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with at least 15 years of project management and engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of current engineering advancements, cost control, and stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication, coaching and interpersonal skills with fluency in English.
• Proven ability to supervise teams, manage budgets and drive continuous improvement.
