Manager/Senior Manager – Strategy & Transactions, Financial Services (Dubai)

About the role

EY is seeking a Manager or Senior Manager to join its Valuation and Modelling practice within the Strategy & Transactions team, focusing on the Financial Services sector—including Banking, Insurance, and Wealth & Asset Management—in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on transaction and non‑transaction decision‑making, covering strategic planning, value creation assessment, operating model redesign, feasibility studies, financial reporting and market valuation.
• Plan, prepare and review deliverables such as Excel data books, written reports, presentations and client discussions.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to sell additional EY services to existing clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting or business with 7‑12 years of valuation experience.
• Deep knowledge of valuation methodologies, market sizing, feasibility analysis, financial modelling and IFRS fair‑value standards.
• Solution‑driven, analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Required skills

• Financial modelling (building models from scratch).
• Advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Understanding of IFRS standards related to fair value measurement, business combinations and impairment testing.
