Managing Director

About the role

Our client is an investment and asset management platform operating across private equity, real estate and operating businesses, focused on strengthening governance and execution across its portfolio. The Managing Director will oversee portfolio performance and lead strategic initiatives to drive value creation.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee portfolio performance and drive strategic initiatives across investments.
• Collaborate with the investment committee on capital deployment, portfolio optimisation and value‑creation plans.
• Manage relationships with portfolio company leadership and external partners.
• Support fundraising activities, investor relations and exit strategies.
• Balance investment discipline with operational understanding to enhance portfolio value.

Required profile

• Senior leadership experience in investment management, private equity or family‑office environments.
• Strong exposure to portfolio oversight and value‑creation processes.
• Experience operating in the UAE or GCC markets is highly advantageous.
• Demonstrated commercial judgment, governance maturity and stakeholder credibility.
• Strong financial acumen and board‑level communication skills.
