About the role
A commercially led MD role for a vessel owner. Win the contracts, grow the fleet, run the business.
Key responsibilities
- Set and deliver a growth strategy with ambitious commercial targets
- Win new charters and contracts through your network in the region's energy and port sectors
- Maximise fleet utilisation and day rates, from fixture through to post‑fixture performance
- Build, lead and keep a high‑performing team
- Optimise day‑to‑day operations, compliance and the P&L
Required profile
- Experience with a vessel owner or operator in offshore or a related sector, in a senior commercial role such as chartering, business development or commercial management
- Established network with energy majors, national oil companies, contractors and port operators across the region
- Proven record of winning contracts and keeping vessels employed
- Presence to lead a team and hold your own with shareholders
