Managing Director – Risk Advisory & Forensic Accounting (ICFR)

About the role

Ankura is seeking a Managing Director to lead its Global Investigations & Forensic Accounting practice within Risk Advisory. The role focuses on Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) engagements across the UAE and GCC, driving business growth and shaping the practice’s future.

Key responsibilities

• Lead high‑profile, complex client engagements and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Provide strategic oversight and ultimate review of ICFR engagements, proposals, presentations and final reports.
• Develop new business opportunities, build a personal brand, and represent Ankura at conferences and client events.
• Collaborate with experts across Risk Advisory, Digital AI Analytics, Restructuring, Disputes and Transaction Advisory to deliver integrated solutions.

Required profile

• Significant experience in a Big 4 or mid‑tier firm with a proven track record of leading ICFR engagements, preferably in the UAE.
• Internationally recognised accounting qualification (ACA, CPA, ACCA) and a mature client network.
• Strong leadership, delegation and mentorship abilities, with excellent report writing, communication and presentation skills.
• Fluent English (Arabic beneficial) and willingness to travel as required.
