Managing Director – Risk Advisory & ICFR

About the role

Ankura is seeking a Managing Director to lead its Risk Advisory practice in Dubai, focusing on Global Investigations, Forensic Accounting and Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR). You will shape the practice’s growth, drive complex client engagements and contribute to market‑facing initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead high‑profile, complex client engagements and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Provide strategic oversight for Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR) engagements across the UAE and GCC.
• Develop and review client proposals, presentations and marketing materials.
• Mentor and develop team members while fostering a collaborative, innovative culture.
• Collaborate with experts across Risk Advisory, Digital AI Analytics, Restructuring, Disputes and Transaction Advisory to deliver integrated solutions.

Required profile

• Significant experience in a Big 4 or mid‑tier firm with a proven track record of leading ICFR engagements, preferably in the UAE.
• ACA, CPA or ACCA qualification (or equivalent) and a mature client network.
• Strong leadership, report writing and presentation skills; fluent English (Arabic beneficial).
