Managing Director – Sports Division (Dubai)

About the role

The Managing Director will lead the growth and development of a sports‑focused marketing agency based in Dubai. Reporting directly to the Board, this senior leadership position holds full ownership of business performance, strategic direction and P&L.

Key responsibilities

• Own agency performance, driving revenue growth and managing P&L.
• Develop and execute business strategy across sports, entertainment and cultural partnerships.
• Lead key client relationships with sports properties, sponsors and rights holders.
• Build and scale commercial pipelines with clubs, leagues, federations and related ecosystems.
• Foster a high‑performance organisational culture focused on accountability and delivery excellence.
• Collaborate closely with the Board, providing structured reporting and performance visibility.
• Design talent development and organisational structures to support scaling.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering commercial growth within sports, entertainment or rights‑holder environments.
• Track record of scaling an agency or commercial organisation with revenue growth.
• Established network across sports properties, talent agencies and commercial rights ecosystems.
• Strong understanding of how sports IP generates and monetises commercial value.
• Experience with major sports ecosystems (e.g., NBA, Premier League, NFL, EuroLeague) is highly desirable.
• Hands‑on operational leadership style while managing senior stakeholders.
• Strong financial acumen with full P&L responsibility and board‑level reporting experience.
