Marine ERP Executive - MariApps / PMS

About the role

An organization implementing MariApps ERP across its fleet is looking for a Marine ERP Executive to support implementation, standardization and ongoing development of the system on vessels and shore. The role is not a conventional IT support position: it needs someone who understands both marine operations and ERP functionality, acting as the technical and functional link between vessels, shore teams and the ERP provider.

Key responsibilities

• Support MariApps implementation and rollout, translating vessel requirements into ERP functional requirements and coordinating configuration, testing and improvements
• Manage planned maintenance system (PMS) registers, equipment hierarchies and maintenance routines against OEM, classification society, flag state, statutory and international requirements
• Maintain and standardize master data, equipment naming conventions and technical documentation, and support spare-parts identification and stock levels
• Support vessel and shore users, investigate problems and provide training, user guides and standard procedures
• Work with the ERP provider to fix bugs and configuration issues, and close enhancement requests

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Marine Engineering or equivalent marine technical qualification
• Sailing experience in the engine department; hands-on MariApps experience preferred
• Understanding of machinery maintenance schedules, equipment hierarchy, spares and technical documentation
• Familiarity with Class, Flag, statutory and international regulatory requirements
• Ability to work with marine personnel and ERP/software teams, and to turn a vessel-side problem into a clear ERP requirement

Required skills

• Good working knowledge of marine Planned Maintenance Systems
• Practical experience using marine ERP/PMS applications
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication and coordination skills
