Marine Logistics Superintendent

About the role

The Marine Logistics Superintendent oversees the planning, coordination and execution of marine logistics for offshore and marine projects. This role ensures safe, efficient and timely mobilisation, operation and demobilisation of vessels, equipment, personnel and materials while complying with project, company and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate vessel mobilisation and demobilisation, including port formalities, towing, transportation and site requirements.
• Manage marine spread logistics such as workboats, tugs, barges, multicats, dredgers and support vessels.
• Review vessel certificates, class status, insurance, permits and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory standards.
• Prepare and monitor mobilisation plans, sailing schedules, towing arrangements and weather assessments.
• Monitor vessel movements, provide regular status updates and support crew changes, provisions, fuel and equipment logistics.

Required profile

• Master Mariner / Master (Unlimited) Certificate of Competency (CoC) – STCW compliant.
• Valid STCW certificates, Seafarer Medical Fitness Certificate and at least 2 years of marine/offshore experience.
• Proven experience in marine logistics, vessel operations, towing, mobilisation/demobilisation and offshore projects.

Required skills

• Master Mariner / Master (Unlimited) Certificate of Competency (CoC).
• STCW certification and related IMO training.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and reporting systems.
