Marketing Intern - Content Creator

About the role

Rixos The Palm Hotel & Suites, working through Hosco in Dubai, is hiring a Marketing Intern focused on content creation. The intern helps build content plans aligned with the annual marketing calendar and supports the hotel's social, video, website and EDM content.

Key responsibilities

• Build content plans aligned with the annual marketing calendar and turn campaign objectives into content angles for social, video, website and EDM channels.
• Manage content planning, publishing, captions, community management and performance tracking.
• Ensure content reflects the brand tone, visual identity and luxury hospitality standards, and complies with copyright, privacy, guest permissions and platform guidelines.
• Monitor platform trends, benchmark competitors and flag content formats.
• Write captions, campaign copy, website copy, EDM content and short-form storytelling, optimised for SEO and polished and brand-aligned.
• Manage creator collaborations, from screening and briefing to deliverables, usage rights, posting timelines and performance analysis.
• Recommend improvements based on data, trends and campaign learnings.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, Media or a related field.
• Strong interest in social media, content creation and digital marketing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative, detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of graphic design tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus.
• Familiarity with photography, videography and editing software such as Lightroom, Premiere Pro and CapCut is a plus.
