Material Engineer (Infrastructure Project Experience)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Material Engineer to join our infrastructure projects team in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. The role involves ensuring that all construction materials comply with project specifications, municipal standards, and quality requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Review, evaluate, and approve construction materials for infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and submit material approvals, technical submittals, and related documentation.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors regarding material specifications and approvals.
• Monitor material testing activities and ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi Municipality standards.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks to verify that materials meet approved specifications.
• Maintain records of material approvals, test reports, and quality documentation.
• Support project teams in resolving material‑related technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Material Engineer on infrastructure projects in the UAE.
• Previous experience working on Abu Dhabi Municipality or Al Ain Municipality infrastructure projects.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of infrastructure construction materials, specifications, and quality control procedures.
• Familiarity with municipality approval processes and material submittal procedures.
