Material Handler – Aviation MRO

About the role

Bombardier is launching a new state‑of‑the‑art Service Centre at Al Bateen Executive Airport in Abu Dhabi. The Material Handler will support daily warehouse operations, tool crib control and calibration management for the Test, Measurement & Diagnostic equipment (TMDE) in a fast‑paced aviation MRO environment. The role requires relocation to Abu Dhabi and is open to candidates already residing in the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, visually inspect, and document incoming and outgoing materials, including AOG items and electrostatic‑sensitive components.
• Manage tool crib functions, enter tooling into the tooling program, and ensure calibration periods are monitored.
• Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts, perpetual records, and work‑in‑progress tracking using SAP.
• Issue approved parts, special tooling, and ground support equipment to maintenance with proper documentation.
• Quarantine and label rejected or unapproved parts, and ensure material certificates are filed correctly.
• Monitor consumable inventory levels, perform stock‑take, scrap handling, and uphold housekeeping standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing aviation parts, materials, and store operations in an MRO setting.
• Knowledge of human factors, human performance, and ability to apply these principles daily.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and strong planning and organizational abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
