Material Handling Equipment Technician

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Technician specialized in material handling equipment to join Al-Futtaim Automotive’s Aftersales team in the UAE. The role involves delivering high‑quality maintenance and repair services both in the workshop and on‑site, ensuring equipment uptime and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs, troubleshooting, and diagnostics on a range of material handling machines.
• Diagnose faults accurately, recommend and implement effective solutions, and aim for first‑time fix.
• Follow service manuals, checklists and standard procedures to improve productivity.
• Communicate repair status and progress to the Service Supervisor and provide field support as required.

Required profile

• Trade certificate or diploma in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience servicing material handling equipment, preferably Hangcha.
• Valid UAE manual driving licence.
• Good command of English; Arabic is a plus.

Required skills

• Strong hands‑on experience with mechanical and electrical repairs.
• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
• Ability to read and follow technical manuals and SOPs.
