Material Inspector (Tagalog Speaker)

About the role

Black Pearl Consult is looking for an experienced Material Inspector to join its team on major infrastructure projects in Dubai. The inspector ensures that all materials used in the project meet the specified quality standards through testing, sampling and inspection. The position is full time.

Key responsibilities

• Witness all laboratory and in-situ tests carried out by contractors or third-party testers.
• Prepare and collect material samples for testing according to project requirements.
• Coordinate with the Work Inspector to confirm work approval for testing and resolve related issues.
• Perform sampling and testing efficiently so as not to delay the contractor's operations.
• Inspect delivered materials regularly to verify they come from approved sources and suppliers.
• Take part in quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) processes throughout the project.
• Review, approve and document testing results and material acceptance.
• Ensure safety regulations are followed during material handling and testing.

Required profile

• Diploma or Associate Degree in Engineering (or equivalent).
• At least 7 years of experience in material inspection on bridges, roads, infrastructure or irrigation projects.
• RTA or Dubai Central Laboratory approval is mandatory.
• Proven expertise in materials QA/QC in construction; willing to work in Dubai.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of laboratory and field-testing procedures for construction materials.
• Proficiency in QA/QC processes and accurate material sampling and testing.
• Good communication and coordination with contractors, engineers and inspectors.
• Thorough understanding of construction site safety procedures and regulations.
