Materials Engineer

About the role

Archirodon is seeking an experienced Materials Engineer to support its EPC projects in Abu Dhabi. The role involves ensuring material selection, testing and quality compliance across civil construction activities.

Key responsibilities

• Review project specifications, test codes, drawings and BOQ to determine quality, engineering criteria and testing requirements.
• Assess proposed materials against project needs, propose alternative suitable materials and appropriate tests.
• Advise on inspection and testing requirements during material usage and provide technical support to site staff.
• Develop pressure test strategies in collaboration with engineering disciplines and oversee material inspections on site and at factories.
• Manage material stocks according to manufacturer recommendations and coordinate deliveries with stores.
• Generate and maintain quality records, raise punch lists for non‑conformances and witness critical verification points with the client.

Required profile

• BEng or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
• 5–10 years of experience in Oil & Gas projects, preferably with ADNOC.
• Proficiency in English and strong organizational abilities.
