Mathematics Teacher (British Curriculum)

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking a qualified Mathematics Teacher to join Al Ain British Academy in August 2026. The role involves delivering the English National Curriculum and GCSE mathematics to a diverse student body, many of whom are English language learners.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging mathematics lessons aligned with the school’s Teaching and Learning Policy.
• Set clear learning objectives, targets and differentiate instruction for SEN, EAL and gifted students.
• Utilise assessment for learning and performance data to inform planning and improve outcomes.
• Collaborate with colleagues to raise standards and close learning gaps.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment and uphold child protection policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience teaching the English National Curriculum and GCSE mathematics (minimum 2 years).
• Ability to work with students for whom English is not the first language.
• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills.
• Understanding and appreciation of regional values and school ethos.
