Mechanical / Civil Engineer – Heavy Lifting & Transportation

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical or Civil Engineer to join Mammoet’s expanding engineering team in Dubai. The role involves delivering engineering solutions for heavy‑lifting and transportation projects worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and provide best‑in‑class engineering solutions for heavy lifting and transport assignments.
• Prepare and update engineering statements, methodologies, calculations, drawings and visualisations.
• Conduct risk assessments and produce technical manuals.
• Support project execution ensuring efficient delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Fluent English communication, both written and verbal.
• Ability to quickly learn new concepts, technologies and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with team members and stakeholders.
• Open to candidates with little to several years of professional experience.

Required skills

• Engineering design and calculation tools.
• Preparation of technical drawings and visualisations.
• Risk assessment and safety analysis.
• Knowledge of industry codes, standards and HLT equipment (preferred).
