Mechanical Engineer – CxA (Data Centre)

About the role

Core is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with CxA expertise to lead commissioning activities for data‑centre facilities in Ajman, UAE. The role involves planning, coordinating and delivering L2‑L5 commissioning stages, ensuring technical compliance and readiness for client acceptance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead L2 installation verification, review and approve checklists, ITPs and method statements.
• Plan and witness L3 individual element commissioning, confirming correct operation, settings and protections.
• Coordinate L4 system functional testing, verify sequences of operation and compliance with design intent.
• Support L5 integrated systems testing, validate resilience and recovery outcomes, and assist in client demonstrations.
• Approve progression between commissioning stages within defined scope and recommend acceptance or rejection of test results.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of commissioning experience in mission‑critical or complex facilities.
• Proven exposure to data‑centre or critical infrastructure projects.
• Strong ability to produce accurate technical documentation and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
