Mechanical Inspector – Construction Quality Assurance

About the role

Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Works under general supervision and may assist with training entry‑level employees.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and code requirements by performing inspection duties.
• Conduct daily field inspections and maintain accurate inspection records.
• Participate in punch‑list activities, testing, and commissioning processes.
• Track quality‑assurance progress and provide input for area and equipment turnovers.
• Assist in preparing documentation for project hand‑over.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in mechanical inspection, quality assurance, or related construction field.
• Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural components.
• Strong understanding of UAE construction codes, building regulations, and international standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic preferred.
• Demonstrated supervisory or team‑lead experience and ability to enforce safety protocols on site.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software.
• Experience using construction project management and scheduling tools.
• Familiarity with digital documentation systems and data‑management tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation.
• Use of inspection software for mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, structural components).
