Mechanical Inspector – Rotating Equipment

About the role
The Mechanical Inspector will oversee the installation, inspection and testing of rotating equipment on site, ensuring compliance with client safety rules and quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Witness and monitor contractor activities, inspections and tests according to approved ITP and method statements.
- Review contractor quality records, raise and verify punch items, and issue non‑conformance reports.
- Participate in receiving inspections and attend the Site Acceptance Test (SAT).
Required profile
- Minimum 10 years of inspection experience on rotating equipment installations.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical engineering.
- Strong knowledge of API RP 686 and related rotating equipment codes and standards.
Required skills
- API RP 686
- API SIRE (or equivalent)
- Rotating equipment installation practices
- Proficiency with Windows OS, MS Word and Excel
