Mechanical Inspector – Site Operations

About the role

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Mechanical Inspector to support site operations across the United Arab Emirates. You will ensure that all mechanical works comply with contract documents, specifications, and safety standards while maintaining accurate records of manpower and equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Review contract documents, drawings, and specifications for compliance.
• Observe, measure, and test contractor activities to verify adherence to standards.
• Maintain daily logs of contractor personnel, equipment, and material deliveries.
• Conduct site supervision and inspections as directed by the Resident Engineer or Assistant Resident Engineer.
• Document observations, methods used, and any deviations from approved procedures.
• Apply quality control procedures and perform surveying and measurement checks.
• Monitor health and safety performance and report violations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of overall experience, with at least 5 years in the UAE.
• Proven experience in mechanical construction projects, preferably high‑rise or villa developments.
• Background in construction supervision within a consultancy environment.
